  Fertilizer and Watch Tower Literature

  do to all the nonsense or rather bs in the watch tower literature, it makes one wonder if it could be used to fertilize your garden, or perhaps not though because it is also full of weeds.

  to the truly brain washed, it provides a fertilizer affect don't you think?

  it wouldn't even be the proper food for a worm, or insect.

  JWs pretended to be someone else at my door.

  this is probably in the wrong section, but i couldn't decide where to put it.

  i was raised a jw and i still suffer effects from that kind of upbringing.. anyway, they said they were local community volunteers and they wanted to give me something related to the community.

  i didn't open the door but they put a jw tract through it.. i don't think it's right to be so devious about recruitment.

  Once i was working with this elder and when we went to the door the householder had a big stomach,,,, she looked 6-7 months pregnant.

  Thios elder started on about how hard it is to raise morally responsible kids these days (1982) and how this book can help by giving her some

  solid guidance for the future.

  Silence from the householder.

  She glares at this guy and says "I'm not pregnant"

  He quickly took the book back and said,, well, we are just some local mormons talking to our neighbors this morning,,, sorry to have bothered you.

  He never said anything about that call afterwards.

  Not Allowed to read other religious literature? Quotes Required Please

  Why do Jehovah's Witnesses decline to exchange their Bible study aids for the religious literature of people they meet?

  I knew a witness that would tell a householfer:

  Why don't you come to my door, and then we can talk about exchanging literature.

  He was quite an arrogant sob.

  it is a jungle out there, and it is no less true about spiritual life than any other aspect of life.

  do we really think that just because someone has been meditating for five years, or doing 10 years of yoga practice, that they will be any less neurotic than the next person?

  the april 15th wt, where it's all talked about....... .

  first in par 12 speaks of how the holy spirit operates as illustrated by the chariot, yet it's speaking about the cherub and the living creature there.

  they then apply that to 'as you already know' if there is a heavenly organization then there would be an earthly one.

  i remember that right after france did a job on the wtbs w/taxes on donations i used an email-harvester and spammed about 250,000 french email addresses with an advertisement for free bible studies and a link to the french site.. .

  i remember getting some replies, like "you can't do that, that's illegal.

  " and i said "i'm an american, and it's legal here.

  well the district convention season is here!

  dw and mil territory are due to go on the first weekend of july but that won't be happening as we are on holiday!.

  add in that this weekend is a festival in town and the weekend after is a party the wife was more than keen to get the whole thing out of the way!.
